The Premier Youth Baseball Development Program in the South Bay
GBG Baseball Group is a leading youth development program, focusing on preparing players for college baseball and beyond. Established in 2012, we prioritize player development, college recruitment, and fostering a supportive family atmosphere within our community.
Garciaparra Baseball Group High School (GBG) is a premier high school level and youth baseball club. GBG is not a “travel team”, we are a College Developmental Program. Our program is geared towards kids’ development in the game of baseball and helping them achieve their goals of playing college baseball and beyond.
GBG South Bay (GBGSB) is a youth (8U to 14U) baseball development program that grows and develops our players so that they can transition into the GBG High School program.
Note: GBG South Bay (GBGSB) is a separate entity from GBG High School.
GBG was created by Michael and Ramon Garciaparra in 2012. Michael was a first-round draft pick by the Seattle Mariners and is currently the So. Cal. Area Scout for the St. Louis Cardinals. He has also been an instructor for U.S.A. Baseball. Ramon brings extensive experience to our program with coaching at many levels and is proud that his two sons (Michael and Nomar) were first round draft picks for the MLB.
GBG has over 1200 players committed to college baseball programs, 140 + Drafted by MLB Teams, and 26 players have reached the Big leagues. GBG has won 14 National titles and have multiple teams highly ranked by Perfect Game, PBR, and others year in and year out. We also have a college recruiting coordinator in our GBG family to help our players with the recruitment process. If a player has dreams and aspirations of playing college baseball and beyond, we’ll do all we can to help him make that dream a reality.
